passed away peacefully at the KHSC-Kingston General Hospital, on Wednesday, September 4^th, 2024, at the age of 67. Dear son of the late David & Grace Drew (nee Sills). Best friend and beloved husband of Dana Sherri-Lynn Kompch for 30 years. Loving father of Tyler Glenn Kompch (Rebekah), and Austen Connor Kompch-Drew (Desirea). Amazing grandfather to Aria and Nina. Loving brother to (late) Deanna Hood (surviving husband John), Elaine Willmott, Faye Alarie (Martin) and Kathleen “Kay” Willmott (Herb). Doug will be dearly missed by Mother-in-Law Ellie Kompch (late Bob Kompch), and in-laws; Brad Kompch (Susan), and Tricia Smith (Jeff), nieces, nephews, and his many close friends and extended family. Cremation to take place. A Celebration of Doug’s Life will be held at a later date (in the new year). Date and time will be announced closer to gathering.  If desired, donations in memory of Doug may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation
