Entered into rest at Hallowell House Long Term Care Facility, Picton, on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Esther Dickson (nee Brown) of Picton, died at the age of 88. Daughter of the late John Walker Brown & Mabel Georgina (nee Duncan) and wife of the late Robert. Loving mother of Colleen Miller (Owen) of Picton, and the late Kevin Robert Dickson, grandmother of Ashleigh (Josh Mowbray), and Jordan, and great-grandmother Everleigh, Elli and Emmett.  Predeceased by her sisters Isabel Johnson and Harriett Hill.  Survived by her sister-in-law Marion Lovell (Gerald) and her nephew Rory.  Mrs. Dickson will be sadly missed by her friends at the Gospel Hall in Picton.  Mrs. Dickson rested at Rushnell Funeral Homes – Picton Chapel, 33 Main Street, (613-476-2450).  Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 10:30 am with visitation for 1 hour prior to the Service.  Interment Quaker Cemetery, Bloomfield.  If desired, donations to the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation “Back the Build” or Hallowell House – Resident’s Fund would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences at: www.rushnellfuneralhomes.
