Janette Marie Dulmage

October 22, 1936 - July 14, 2024

On July 14 2024 our mother went home to be with the Lord. We would like to thank Mary DeMille, Ethel and staff at Hallowell House for Mom’s care in recent years. She was predeceased by her parents Harry & Mabel Faul, siblings Don Faul, Lorne Faul and Dorothy Clow. She was also predeceased by her beloved second husband Everett Dulmage. Janette is survived by her children Bob (Kym) Dauphinee, Roxanne (Chris) Calver, and Rhonda (Elmer) Tough. She is also survived by her grandchildren Michelle & Cuyler Dauphinee, Adam & Brent Calver of Calgary, Anthony, Leslie and Cassandra Meszaros, great grandson Hunter and numerous nieces and nephews. Janette moved with her family to the county at the age of 6 and before entering Hallowell House, lived at 62 Main St., Picton for almost 50 years. She volunteered at many places including the Community Care Thrift Store. She was a member of the Red Hats and enjoyed many social activities.
Mom’s favourite bible verse was Corinthians 13: 4-7.
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.
It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith. It is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations made to the Salvation Army Church of Picton where Mom used to attend church.
